GI Tract Imaging: Present practice, future possibilities
A joint conference of GIRSIG and the College of Radiographers
Venue to be confirmed
The conference will enable delegates to:
- Discuss and debate current best practice
(eg reviewing errors in DCBE reporting)
- Explore new imaging options that offer an
alternative to traditional fluoroscopy (eg CT colonography,
MR and CT enteroclysis)
- Update on the latest research outcomes (eg
SIGGAR I Trial)
- Develop skills to support advanced and consultant
practice (eg effective poster presentations, Advanced Practitioner
accreditation)

GIRSIG 2006 CONFERENCE
The 2006 GIRSIG conference which included presentations
/ workshops on all aspects of GI advanced practice was voted
a great success by the delegates. Presentations and conference
